Frustrated with Treating Lymphedema or Venous Stasis Ulcers with Inferior Pneumatic Compression Devices (PCD)?
VasoCARE provides the # 1 PCD for patients suffering with Lymphedema and/or Venous Stasis Ulcers for three reasons:
#1
Only Bio Compression pumps deliver true gradient sequential compression therapy, be it our 4 or 8 chamber pumps.
The highest pressure is found in chamber one, and each subsequent chamber drops in pressure by 1 mmHg.
Why is Gradient Pressure Important?
Venous and lymphatic systems operate on gradient pressure. It makes sense to provide patients with a compression device that delivers gradient pressure therapy that effectively reduces swelling, limb pain, and accelerates healing of venous leg ulcers.
“Years earlier, I had knee replacement surgery and developed swelling in my right leg. My doctor said I had developed lymphedema as a result of the surgery.
I love how my compression device allows me to self-treat and control the swelling in my legs.”
#2
Bio Compression manufactures fifteen off-the-shelf limb sizes designed to fit 90% of the patient population suffering with Lymphedema. But what about the 10% having special needs?
Are you aware that all other PCDs use “extenders” to widen the girth of their pneumatic limb sleeves? That means 20% of the limb receives no compression therapy which increases the risk for developing fibrosis and possible infection.
It’s a dirty little secret that sales reps elect not to disclose with their ordering physicians.
Solution
Bio Compression is the only company in the world that manufactures custom limb sleeves for patients with special needs.
Custom Order Form
Take measurements, complete and fax to VasoCARE.
Cutting Templates
The nylon is cut according to the measurements taken.
The Finished Product
Custom limb sleeves are available in 7 days.
#3
Bio Compression’s devices deliver repetitive 50 mmHg distal-to-proximal gradient pressure which prevents backflow and effectively transports 90% of the lymph fluid out of the compromised limb.
Case study: Average age of our users is 67.2 years and 60.7% of our patients are women.
Conclusion
Patients experience an overall limb volume reduction of 21.8% after one year of daily compression with the Bio Compression devices. Reducing the limb volume by over 20% improved clinical outcomes, quality of life, and functional status.
From amputees to patients morbidly obese, VasoCARE and Bio Compression can meet the needs of your patients.
You can count on VasoCARE being a part of the solution. We do not provide cheap Asian compression devices.

Examples of Lymphedema
HYPERKERATOSIS with hyperpigmentation
An overgrowth of the skin, like a very thick callus, where skin easily flakes, warts-like where the skin turns red or darkening of the skin. Over time, the limb with untreated lymphedema gains a brawny and indurated texture and reveals hyperkeratosis and papillomatosis. Cellulitis is a serious complication that develops in patients living of lymphedema.
Skin breakdown with persisting lymphorrhea
Lymphorrhea is when lymph fluid leaks from the surface of the skin, usually manifesting as a trickling of fluid. Insect bites, cuts, wounds, cracks — no matter how small, any break in the skin has the potential to allow lymph to weep through. The pressure of lymph fluid inside the skin tissue is so high that the skin is unable to stretch fast enough to accommodate the fluid which leads to a break in the skin and leaking of lymph fluid.
Papillomatosis
Skin has raised wart-like growth. Diabetes increases risk for lymphedema. Cancer is a common cause for lymphedema. Patients having had surgery are at high risk in developing lymphedema due to the lymphatic vessels being damaged or surgically removed during the surgical procedure leads to lymphedema.
ELEPHANTIASIS
Progressive enlargement of extremity, chronic fibrosis. Disfigurement of the limb caused by an insect bite that damages the lymphatic network leading to disfigurement of the limb.
